Hailing from proud Irish roots, and now settled in the dance music mecca of London,
his journey began at the Ministry of Sound DJ Academy where he trained from the age of 18.
Crafting his skills alongside some of the most credible artists from the scene today, it wasn’t long before Alex Kella had defined his sound and was ready to embark on his musical journey. As his radio show started to gain critical stand out and demos, receiving major props from London’s biggest promoters, the gigs followed.
Fast forward to the age of 23, Alex Kella has been a regular feature at Ministry of Sound, Electric Brixton and the 5,000 capacity O2 Academy, playing alongside Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, Kaskade, Porter Robinson,
Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, Roger Sanchez, Tom Staar, Nervo, Dyro, Danny Avila & many more!!
Kella’s style transcends boundaries from the Progressive to the full spectrum of House and Electronica, mixed with melodic rushes and eclectic samples. This forward thinking artist has cemented his position as one of the most exciting young DJ/producers on the scene right now, and is breaking new ground with his technical ability and creative thought.
