A notable member of the new generation of deep, tech house and techno stars, Jadele, aka Adele Shields, has cut through the underground scene with great vigour over the past two years. With an electric brand of deep, melodic house, infused in broody, laced techno, Jadele’s sound has steadily emerged as both a DJs and fans favourite. Notable supporters include artists such as Betoko, Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Roth, Alex Flatner, Omid 16B, R.O.N.N. aka Ron Carroll, Dale Middleton.
In the studio her work as a songwriter, vocalist and producer across multiple releases has caught the attention of major labels; Germany’s Circle Music, home to the recent ‘Myriad’, along with London label Alola Records, of which saw the ‘Magnify’ EP collaboration with Alex Flatner & Patrick Kunkel make it into Beatport’s top 100 Indie Dance/Nu Disco chart. As a member of the Celestial Recordings family, a burgeoning tech house imprint of which she is a resident producer, Jadele’s unique vocals are often used for in-house projects shared across the label, but it doesn’t stop there…
Completing worldwide tours recently, Jadele’s hypnotically infectious sound has also elevated her to the height of the current UK house scene, as well as raised her standing amongst international punters and promoters alike. From long-haul tours in Colombia gracing the main line-up at BAUM voted best club in South America, and Eliptica Club Cali, to Shanghai, China at the very cool Lola Club, hitting up cities in India from Mumbai and Bangalore to Hyderabad and Goa, Jadele’s DJ diary has also seen her play at notorious techno club BKI in Hamburg, entertain the techno honchos at world superclub WOMB in Japan and Circus in Osaka, light up Thailand beach clubs Cha Cha Moon and The W Hotel in Koh Samui, Bangkok’s uber clubs Glow, Bash and Ku De Ta. Alongside this she’s played in Paris, Ibiza, Dublin, Verona, Bahrain and become a firm favourite amongst crowds at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg London.
Holding down her own and playing out sets alongside a peppering of prime house and tech acts, including Him Self Her, Edu Imbernon, Lee Burridge, Finnebassen, Dubfire, Tube & Berger, Darren Emerson, Omid 16B, Yousef, Felix Da Housecat and Nick Warren, Jadele’s profile also transpires over the airwaves across the globe. Hosting a monthly show on InsomniaFM, where her music reaches 1000’s and also guesting on Frisky Radio.
Intent with a purpose to deliver deep, bass heavy sounds to a discerning crowd, whether on home or international soil, Jadele’s musical future looks bright with an ever growing tour diary, alongside current/future releases penned on Omid 16B’s Alola Records and Circle Music, as well as several remix and collaboration projects in the pipeline.
